Heavy Rain In Central New Jersey
Very heavy rain is fall over Central New Jersey and specifically over Monmouth county. In Freehold, where I’m located, roughly 1 inch of rain has already fallen with more to come. The large area of thunderstorms and heavy rainfall will continue to progress east, which will impact extreme southern Long Island and the coastal waters of central New Jersey and southern Long Island.
Meanwhile, widely scattered strong to severe thunderstorms will continue to develop and move through southern Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey. The majority of the severe thunderstorms however will be concentrated over the Baltimore and Washington D.C. metro.
