Second Wave A Miss, Another On The Way
Currently, the storm complex that is moving through the Mid Atlantic is strongest over the Baltimore and Washington, D.C. metro. This has lead to the northern portion of the line of storms to weaken and thus become a large area of moderate to heavy rainfall for the Philadelphia metro.
However, behind this line, skies once again are rapidly clearing with rebounding temperatures. Another area of showers and strong thunderstorms currently over the Ohio Valley will move towards the forecast area this evening and overnight with additional potential for showers and strong to severe thunderstorms.
Further, the clearing behind this complex may initiate the development of rogue isolated storms as well, which will be monitored through the evening.
