6:29 AM

I don’t think I’ve written this in a long time.  Expect clear skies and dry conditions over much of the coastal waters and along the coast today.  An isolated shower is possible this afternoon, but most locations will remain dry.  Weak high pressure will provide clear skies and dry conditions through tonight.  An area of low pressure will approach the Mid Atlantic from the Ohio Valley with increasing clouds and scattered showers by the late afternoon, especially over southern New Jersey and the Delaware Bay.  Partly cloudy skies and scattered showers will continue to impact the coastal waters through Sunday night into Monday morning.  Clearing skies are expected on Monday afternoon.

Winds will be from the west around 10 to 20 mph through this afternoon.  Tonight, winds will become light and variable.  Winds will veer to the southwest around 5 to 15 mph Sunday through Monday morning.  Winds will briefly veer to the northeast around 5 to 15 mph on Monday afternoon before backing to the west o Monday evening.

Temperatures will rise into the upper 70′s to lower 80′s for highs this afternoon.  On Sunday, temperatures will fall into the lower to mid 60′s for morning lows and rebound into the mid to upper 70′s for afternoon highs.  On Monday, temperatures will fall into the lower 60′s for morning lows and rebound into the upper 70′s to lower 80′s for afternoon highs.

Water temperatures will range from the upper 60′s to mid 70′s with the warmest conditions along the southern New Jersey coast and the Delaware Bay.

Wave heights will range from 2 to 4 feet through the period.
