A few isolated lingering showers are possible over the coastal waters through the mid morning hours, otherwise clearing skies can be expected.  High pressure will produce clear skies this evening through Sunday.  As the high pressure slides east on Sunday night, a few clouds can be expected, but dry conditions will prevail.  Few to scattered clouds can be expected on Monday morning.  A weak disturbance will produce the potential for scattered showers and thunderstorms on Monday afternoon, otherwise partly cloudy skies are expected.

Winds will be from the west around 5 to 15 mph through this afternoon and into tonight.  On Sunday, winds will back from the west to southwest around 5 to 15 mph and remain from the southwest through Sunday afternoon.  Winds will become light and variable on Sunday night and then veer to the south by Monday morning around 5 to 10 mph.

Temperatures will rise into the lower 80′s for highs this afternoon.  On Sunday, temperatures will fall into the mid 60′s for morning lows and rebound into the lower 80′s for afternoon highs.  On Monday, temperatures will fall into the mid 60′s for morning lows and rebound into the lower 80′s for afternoon highs.

Water temperatures will range from the upper 60′s to lower 70′s in the northern New Jersey coastal waters through the Long Island Sound; lower to mid 70′s in the central and southern New Jersey coastal waters, and mid to upper 70′s in the southern New Jersey coastal waters and the Delaware Bay.

Wave heights through the period will range from 2 to 4 feet through the period.
