Overcast skies and periods of light rain can be expected through this afternoon with winds from the northeast at 5 to 15 mph. Temperatures will rise into the mid to upper 40′s over the interior and lower to mid 50′s along the coast for highs this afternoon.
An area of low pressure over the Mississippi River Valley will drive through the Northern Mid Atlantic this evening through tomorrow morning with periods of rain expected. The rain will be heavy at times with winds backing to the northwest at 5 to 15 mph with gusts over 20 mph. Temperatures will range from the lower to mid 40′s for lows and lower to mid 50′s over the interior and mid to upper 50′s along the coast for highs.
By tomorrow evening, skies will clear and winds will be from the northwest at 5 to 15 mph with gusts over 20 mph. Temperatures will fall into the lower to mid 30′s over the interior and mid to upper 30′s along the coasts for lows by Wednesday morning. High pressure will be in control through Thursday with dry conditions.
Another area of low pressure will lift from the Mississippi River Valley into the Great Lakes with periods of rain through Friday. The rain will exit from west to east by Friday evening with falling temperatures through the afternoon. Temperatures will range from the mid to upper 30′s for lows and upper 30′s to mid 40′s for highs.
High pressure will be in control on Saturday and Sunday with scattered clouds and colder weather conditions. Temperatures will range from the mid 20′s to lower 30′s for lows and mid 30′s to lower 40′s for highs.
