FIND OUT WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING ABOUT NY NJ PA WEATHER!

Is great Steve, and as you get more and more clients, others, and you know who I mean, are going to get nastier. I am really happy for you and it’s good to see a guy like you getting more clients to your service. All you have to do is keep providing the good service, and others will do the talking for you. My best to you always.

I really enjoy being a premium member of your site.  As a weather (and snowstorm) enthusiast without the mathematical and scientific knowledge, you make understanding weather patterns and the dynamics of a storm very easy to understand.  You always give concrete reasons and examples to back up your forecast and you never hype (as do other sites).  In fact, I cancelled my Accu-Weather Pro subscription of $200.00 and signed up for your $50.00 premium membership not because of the money, but because I had grown tired of busted forecasts, extreme hype, model hugging and all the mumbo-jumbo that went along with it.  So not only is your site more economical, your information and forecasts are more reliable and you don’t hug models!  You explain the psychics behind a storm and you practice meteorology, not modelology and this is proven in your excellent track record, which speaks for itself.  Keep up the great work!  I intend on being a premium member for years to come!

I am very pleased with your service, to me as a subscriber.

Steve:

So far, between your winter forecast to the post xmas storm to yesterday’s storm, you have done well. No hype, just weather and physics…I love your style…thrilled to be a premium member!

Hi Steve…just wanted to let you know I am very impressed with your knowledge and non-hype of weather related events. I belive that you take this seriously in the fact that you are driven by not only guidance, but your due diligence in making the most accurate predictions possible. It is quite evident that you are not a self-promoting meteorologist, but rely on knowledge and experince in making the most accurate forecasts possible. To be honest I am an Accuweather Pro subscriber and I am tired of the hype and model worshiping displayed by Bastardi and Margusity. Their credibility was once very good, but something along the way has changed. If it is obvious that there is going to be a storm, how could a trained meteorologist change his forecast solely based upon a single model? (GFS-Margusity). Also, I wonder how a meteorologist can pound away each day saying it will be warm in January and boast about him saying this since the fall, but as the weather evolves, backpeddle to say “well the January thaw is relative to the intense cold we had in December”. As far as I am concerned their credibility is shot and unfortunately people like myself (untrained weather enthusiasts) eventually realize the motivation behind the hype, etc. is money / subscriber driven.
As I said when I first joined your site….keep it real and the subscribers will increase along with your business. Keep up the good work.

Since I began NY NJ PA Weather, I’ve gotten a lot of e-mails stating how much people love NY NJ PA Weather!

Here are some of those emails!

Steve -

Thank you again for your excellent analysis and hard work! I have been following nynjpaweather for close to 8 months. Your expert analysis allowed me to escape Philadelphia just in time to avoid the awful storms of July 25th 2010 and board an earlier Amtrak train back home to CT. You’re proving just as valuable during the summer as you were during the winter! I consider myself one of the fortunate ones to have found nynjpaweather and will continue to pass the word on about your “must read” analysis for the nynjpa area!

Looking at all the 12z guidance and especially the MOS, it doesn’t even show a break in the heat. Sunday is lower humidity but it comes right back with dews forcasted near 70! No records (upper 80′s) but still hot and humid! The euro which nailed this past heat wave is even more on the torrid side. Another excellent call on your part!

I would like to say a few words in regards to the excellent service you continue to provide to me and many others in your membership portion of your Website Service, as well as, the public reporting on Examiner.Com.

You continue to provide both excellent daily forecasts and learning through your business. The daily, monthly and seasonal outlooks that you prepare along with the outstanding live coverage in storm mode situations ,whether winter or spring / summer convective seasons has been a real asset in preparing my daily routines.

You have provided and continue to enhance your business model with new and exciting ways of getting the Northern Mid Atlantic prepared for sunny mild days to the very stormy and potentially threatening impacts of weather for a metropolitan area that spans from Philadelphia to NYC and all the spaces in between this Garden State .

I have been extremely pleased with the service and time you devote to your clients and having the ability of reasonably scaled levels of membership has allowed the affordability of having your very own personal weather man.

While we are all for the 60 second general breakdown of the simple forecast via tv..radio or internet these days, you provide a unique balance between the forecast and the science behind it. And you do it bright and early every day.  The small business model works well even in a large metropolitan area with a real hands on and personal approach through teaching. Sure there are services out there with 50-100 employees ,,then the larger scale outlets (names withheld) and our great guys at the government offices providing the details as well, but with your service, you get what you say..”the weather with no hype”.

I have and will continue to point others to your site.

After all since there is always a 100% chance of weather why risk it …

I’m prepared as well as many others and a growing list of your first full year in business as well!

Congratulations and thank you for creating this site and for the loyalty that you show your members. It does not go unappreciated.

I will continue to spread the word…

Sincerely

Robert Smith

NY NJ PA Weather is the best weather service in our area!  As a novice weather buff I have been following Steven DiMartino’s forecasts online for a few years and have been totally impressed with his knowledge of weather and accuracy of his forecasts, so much so that now I am a Platinum member of this service.  There is no hype-only very accurate forecasting. Steven will always take the time to provide a private forecast for you when planning a special event.  He helped me out when planning a graduation party and heavy rains/ thunderstorms were predicted.  He told me a week ahead to get a tent and  2 days before the party he suggested I change the party to my rain date because even a tent wasn’t going to help!!!  This made my decision so much easier because I trust his forecasting abilities. I was able to let everyone, including the caterer, know in advance.  His seven day forecasts and long range forecasts are extremely useful and reliable.  They will truly help you out during hurricane season and for winter weather events. I check out many otherweather services on a daily basis and trust me when I say nobody even comes close to matching Steven’s abilities. Whenever there is an extreme weather event in our area Steven goes to live forecasting which is not only interesting but valuable so people can get prepared.  If you are in need of a weather service for planning private parties, corporate events, school closings or just for your own personal use you will be happy with choosing Steve DiMartino’s NY NJ Pa Weather! Membership rates are so inexpensive but worth every penny!

Just wanted to drop you a line of thanks and encouragement.  I’ve always had an interest in weather, but never took it farther than a personal hobby.  Finding your website a couple of months ago was great.  I like the way you keep things real, local and professional.  I check in at least once a day, on average, and trust what you have to say more than what might be on the Weather Channel or a NYC station.  Even though you’re a Mets fan, I’m still on your side!

Keep up the good work.

Hi Steven,

My name is Brett and I have been a long-time reader of your weather

discussions.  On Eastern, I used to read what you would discuss when

you were in Oklahoma, and now, being that I am living in New Jersey,

I pay even more attention to your forecasts–and I think you do a great

job!

Steve;

Thanks for the great weather site and your new videos are very interesting and informative.I am going to cancel accuweather .

I only use it to watch JB anyway.

Keep up the great job.

Steven:

I’m new to your site, just wanted to tell you  I think this site is great.

Thank you

Steven,

Love your website and the way you explain the complexity of weather forecasting in layman’s terms.  Great job!

Keep up the great work!

Wayne

Just wanted to say how much I enjoy your daily updates.  Anybody blogger and site operator whos business it is to express his viewpoint  continually leaves himself open to criticism.   Every time you express your analysis and forecast, you leave yourself open to attack, as does anybody whos business it is to predict the future.

The way you justify your views, and the way you make the ‘common man’ understand the intricacies of model analysis tempered by verification techniques, leads the reader to a greater understanding of the key forces at work in shaping our current and near future weather.

So, those of us in the area you cover are very greatful we have a met who talks To us, not Down to us as some other pros do.  You, Tip, Cosgrove, and even DT when he’s in his less manic mode all contribute to elevating the knowledge level of your readers.   But its you who provide daily updates and analysis on a reliably consistent basis.

So, Thanks, and Thanks again!

Paul E
