This weekend the Jets come off a bye week and hope to get back on track this afternoon.  The Jets are the only home team playing at home as the Eagles are at San Diego and the Giants are on a bye week.

Jets: Clearing skies can be expected with winds from the northwest around 5 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the mid to upper 60′s.  In short, very comfortable playing conditions and no impacts are expected from the weather.

The Giants and Eagles play at home this week while the Jets get a week off to heal up.

Gaints: The Giant host the San Diego Chargers and it appears the Charges brought some of the California warmth with them.  Clear skies can be expected with winds from the west around 5 to 10 mph.  Temperatures will fall from the mid 60′s into the lower 60′s through the game.

Eagles: Host the Cowboys who also brought warm weather with them!  Winds will back from the west to the southeast around 5 mph.  Temperatures will fall from the upper 50′s into the lower 50′s through the game.

So clearly, neither team wants to play Green Bay in January if these teams can bring their weather conditions with them.

This weekend is packed full of NFL action today as the Giants battle the Eagles in Philadelphia and the NY JETS battle the Dolphins at the Meadow Lands!

GAINTS VS EAGLES AT 1 PM: Rain will linger through the start of the game with drying conditions through the early afternoon.  Winds will be from the northwest around 5 to 10 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the lower 50′s through the game.

Jets host the Dolphins AT 1 PM: Rain will end by the start of the game with drying conditions through much of the game.  Winds will be from the northwest around 5 to 10 mph.  Temperatures will fall from the mid 50′s into the lower 50′s through the game.

The overall theme is that rain will be ending from northwest to southeast as the afternoon begins.  The low pressure system that is producing the rain will exit east with limited impact to playing conditions after the 1st quarter.

High pressure will be in control today with little if any impact on the NFL games this weekend.

Giants: The Giants take on the Oakland Raiders at 1 PM this afternoon.  Clear skies will be expected with winds from the west around 5 to 10 mph.  Temperatures will be in the lower 60′s.

Eagles: The Eagles host Tampa Bay at 1 PM this afternoon.  Clear skies will be expected with winds from the west around 5 to 10 mph.  Temperatures will be in the lower to mid 60′s.

No significant impact is expected from the weather for these games.

The Eagles and the Jets play home today in what will be rather wet conditions!

Eagles: The Eagles play the KC Chiefs at 1:00 PM today.  The steady rain is at an end, however showers will remain a threat through the game.  Winds will veer from the southeast to west around 5 to 15 mph through the afternoon.  Temperatures will hold in the mid to upper 60′s.

Jets: The Jets play the Titans at 1:00 PM today.  Like in Philadelphia, the steady rain is over however showers will continue to be a threat.  Winds will be from the southeast around 5 to 15 mph.  By the fourth quarter, winds will veer to the west around 5 to 15 mph and may have an influence on the kicking game.  Temperatures will hold in the mid to upper 60′s.
