Fall-like conditions visit Mid Atlantic to start September

This evening yet another disturbance is bringing a round of strong to severe thunderstorms to the forecast area. This time, the thunderstorms are widely scattered, however the individual thunderstorms are producing frequent lightning and heavy downpours.
