The upper level trough over the eastern half of Canada continues to act like a pendulum swinging back and forth through the Great Lakes and Northeast. On Tuesday afternoon, yesterday, a mid level disturbance combined with diurnal heating produced isolated strong to severe thunderstorms over the forecast area.
