The severe thunderstorms are focusing and moving directly towards New York City and the five boroughs. These thunderstorms feature frequent lightning, heavy downpours, and wind gusts to 65 mph. Very heavy rain is fall over Central New Jersey and specifically over Monmouth county. In Freehold, where I’m located, roughly 1 inch of rain has already fallen with more to come.
