Severe Thunderstorms Focusing Towards New York City

The severe thunderstorms are focusing and moving directly towards New York City and the five boroughs.  These thunderstorms feature frequent lightning, heavy downpours, and wind gusts to 65 mph.  The thunderstorms over Newark and northeastern New Jersey are starting to show signs of a developing meso-low, which will enhance wind gusts.
