The forecast area had another great day as high pressure moved off the coast by the afternoon.  Winds generally remained light from the south while clouds slowly increased to now many locations have had a broken cloud deck now build in.  Temperatures rose into the mid 70′s over Connecticut to the lower 80′s over much of New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania for highs.

Currently, clouds from the warm front extending from the low pressure over the Great Lakes are moving into the area.  A few widely scattered showers are moving through the the Hudson Valley and northern New Jersey.  However, the majority of this precipitation is not reaching the ground and does not pose a real threat for the evening.

For the rest of the night, expect clouds to continue to increase.  A few showers will be possible, especially over the Hudson Valley.  Overall though, a quiet night is expected with temperatures falling into the lower 60′s to upper 50′s for lows.
