Another great day for the weekend to do any and all outdoor activities! However trouble is brewing to the west and this coming week is going to be a heck of a lot more active than the past 10 days. A cold front will be followed by fall like conditions [...]

Tropical Storm Fay is now over the Panhandle of Florida and will continue to the west-northwest along the eastern and central Gulf Coast over the next three days. The heaviest rainfall remains on the eastern side of circulation, which is impacting much of northern Florida and southwestern Georgia.

Currently over 20 [...]

The severe weather today will be focused along the northeastern coast of Florida and coastal Georgia as Tropical Storm Fay continues to impact the Florida Peninsula. The thunderstorms within the rain bands will be capable of producing tornadoes due to increasing low level wind shear over the region. The thunderstorms will also be capable of [...]

Good evening everyone!
The latest model guidance that I’m looking at this evening hasn’t changed my mind on what to expect over the next few days. The disappointing cold front is clearing the forecast area and what will follow over the next several days is high pressure, which will lead to clear skies, cool morning lows, [...]

The local forecast discussion is updated!
This morning, the cold front over the eastern Great Lakes is on the march and will move through the entire forecast area by the early evening. The showers and thunderstorms with this cold front are not expected to be impressive, but some rain never hurts, right? From there, high pressure [...]
